First off, WELCOME at my website "My American
Dream"
I had plenty of other websites before this
one..but "My American Dream" shows exactly who I am today,what I want in life and what keeps me busy!
this website also offers a lot of information
about the United States and I will try to keep everything updated as often as possible.
Well.I will first tell you a little bit more
about me..so you all know more about me as a person and the point of making this website.
My name is Jasmijn and I'm an 19 year old girl
from The Netherlands,Europe
The U.S.A always had this real strong power
of attrection to me
I've always had a great interest for this country..
Mainly because of two things..I've always been
into the arts..I've been really passionated about the arts since I was very young and I had this big love for Music and
Film.. I've followed plenty of drama,music,musical and dance classes,took part of many competitions and auditions,took
every chance I got to perform and when I grew older I only wanted to learn more and more (and get better and succesful) I
knew the education in the arts was so much more comprehensive in America..as well the highschool as the colleges and universities
had so much possibilities in the arts..also the showbizz industry always has been on a much higher level than here in
Europe,Art studies had more to offer and ofcourse The U.S.A stays the country of the American dream..
Second..my dad is business-director and has
a lot of business-relations inside of the U.S...I remember when I was younger that we got lots of visits from American people
who worked with my dad.
I loved that..I thought they were really interesting
people and I always liked having them in the house,hearing about their american life and showing me their culture.
I know America is like a totally different
world compared to ours..and the american life is different in every state,ofcourse you have good things and bad things and
it's not even close to paradise like some people think but what I've seen and "taste" myself..I can definitly say it's
the place where I want to grow old.
Before my 17th I've only expierenced The States
out of books,stories,movies,tv and people but my passion for this country grown stronger and stronger.
After I graduated from highschool in my home-country
I packed my bags and left to The Land of my Dreams..(You can read all about my american expierences in the following chapter
of this website)
Now at my 19th..I've been in the U.S.A for
a couple of times..learned a lot about the country..as well the good as the bad..but I'm still convinced it's thé place to
be for me and next year I'm moving to California to go to College.
Anyways..While visiting here you can read all

Just Me...I am just saying what I feel like saying....

I'm just doing what my heart tells me to do!
I won't
ever fake it and I'm just the way I am
I wanna be
able to reach my goals but I won't ever let anyone change me.
Coz
you see, if I wear a mask, I can fool the World but I cannot fool my heart!
My
maingoal in life is to become a succesful and real artist.
I
want to give a whole new meaning to the American showbizz Industry and
make a difference to the World!
I know that a big thing to want..even
to say but you know what..it's what I really want to pursue in life so why lieng about it?!..Maybe
I will get where I want to be eventually and maybe I won't but you can at least try!
I already had
some wonderful experiences in the showbizz but I also had some hard experiences
in the showbizz.
You always
have to keep your eyes open because it is some crazy world and there will always be people
that will try to take advantage of you!
Ofcourse
I have still this endless road to succes ahead of me and I am aware of the fact that this is the
hardest and most nerve-racking busnisses that there is! But don't think that will keep me away!
No!
I won't ever give up,it's my greatest passion in life,I live and breathe for it!
Some people
are thinking that I am some hopeless dreamer and a fool but guess what..I don't care!!!
Cause I know there are also people out there
who do see the potential in me and some people who didn't believe it at first but who are now coming up to me telling me how
much appreciation they have for me
And
after all..This is my life and I'm the only one who has to make sure that I can live my life the way I want to and
live it as an happy person who is satisfied with the things she is doing!
You
